LA VILLE VISIBLE

2011

A single line is repeated ad infinitum and thus becomes the evocation of a city wedged between two mirrors. Emerging from almost nothing with astonishing rapidity, like our modern agglomerations, this urban form nestles in the hollows of the ancient rampart of the Musée des Beaux Arts de Nancy, which carries, invisibly, the ground and the streets on which we walk. The Visible City is a spatial fault that sends us back to the abandoned places that we hardly look at but that start to exist if we consider them.
