Heimleuchten
Seit 1979 realisiert Bosslet Skulpturen, Interventionen und raumgreifende Lichtinstallationen mit elektrischem Licht und elektrischer Steuerung.

Die Skulpturen sind meist von der Decke hängende, leuchtende oder sich bewegende Objekte die aus einer Kombination von Wohnraumleuchten der 1950er-1970er Jahre, Antennen und andere Materialien hergestellt sind. http://bosslet.com/lightart-lichtkunst.html

In seinen Lichtinterventionen verändert Bosslet die Nachtwirkung von markanten Stadtbild prägender Bauwerke. Von innen heraus zieht das unregelmäßige, arhythmisch flackernde Licht die Aufmerksamkeit auf sich und hinterfragt so die Erscheinungskonvention der Gebäude im Stadtraum. http://youtu.be/sDyoKFa0ipc

In seinen Installationen greift Bosslet auf Beleuchtungselemente temporärer Festtagsbeleuchtungen des öffentlichen Außenraums zurück, die er in Innenräumen zu eigenwilligen Konstellationen zusammenfügt. Die Leuchtelemente werden beim örtlichen Provider ausgeliehen und nach der Ausstellung an diesen wieder zurück gegeben. Die so ihrem räumlichen Kontext, der jahreszeitlichen und festlichen Bestimmung entzogenen Lichterketten, Lichtzeichen und Symbole werden zu raumgreifenden Inszenierungen verdichtet. http://bosslet.com/heimleuchten-speyer.html

In his light interventions, Bosslet changes the night effects of the striking cityscape embossed structures. In his light installations, the artist relies on lighting elements of temporary festive lighting in public space, which he sets together as idiosyncratic constellations indoors. Deprived of their spatial context, the seasonal and festive chains of lights, light signals and symbols are compressed into large-scale productions. Desde 1979, Bosslet realiza esculturas, intervenciones e instalaciones de luz con lámparas y control eléctrico.

En sus intervenciones con luz, Bosslet cambia la iluminación de edificios que marcan el perfil de la ciudad. La luz irregular, que pulsa arrítmicamente desde el interior de la construcción, llama la atención y cuestiona así la aspecto convencional de los edificios de las zonas metropolitanas.

En sus instalaciones, Bosslet toma como elemento principal la iluminación que se cuelga temporalmente en las calles durante períodos festivos, y la presenta en nuevas constelaciones en un espacio cerrado. Estos elementos de iluminación se toman prestados de los proveedores locales y son devueltos tras la exposición.
