Berlin Studio Program

In cooperation with the Senate of Berlin and other partners the bbk berlin developed a special studio program for the allocation of subsidised, rental controlled and occupancy bound studios and studio flats.  The program is executed by the studio office (Atelierbüro) of the kulturwerk of the bbk berlin. New offers and studios that become available are regularly announced on the web page of the studio office. They are allocated by a selection panel appointed by the Senate of Berlin to applicants that meet the criteria of professionalism and urgency. Professional artists who live in Berlin are eligible for application.

The studio office regularly gives out information on subsidised studios in an e-mail newsletter. Moreover non-subsidised studio offers are published on the web page of the studio office. The studio office also offers counselling for artists.
