Netzwerktreffen / Screenings

The network meetings of the Media workshop have the goal of strengthening media artists in Berlin and promoting the exchange of ideas among them. Individual artists or groups present their works or projects. Media-relevant aspects such as copyright, social media or software can be the subject of the network meetings. In terms of content, it is also about media border areas and a critical concept of media.

The meetings always take place on a Wednesday at 7 pm in the Media workshop at Mariannenplatz 2. The date will be arranged in consultation with the lecturing guests and will then be published.

The annual screening showed current works realized in the Media workshop for one week. In the past years the screening took place in the form of a short film program in the Kino Central (Haus Schwarzenberg Rosenthaler Str. 39 10178 Berlin Mitte). The Media lab (kesselhaus) will be included as a presentation venue from 2020 on.
